“Opening the city as a common resource!”

Mark Neuner (1977) realizes projects in the field of architecture and urbanism.

In 2012 Mark Neuner founded the office “Mostlikely Architecture” and realizes projects of different scales between urban masterplan, public buildings and public furniture.
Designing the antropecene: On the urban level, strategies and concepts are developed with the “Common Space Model” to shape the transformation of our cities into open and livable places.
Let’s build this city: With the team of the “Sudden Workshop” and the power of many, committed city dwellers, the first prototypes of this open vision of city have already been built in the temporary and mobile workshop and operated in a publicly effective way. This approach is presented in detail in his book “Mostlikely Sudden Workshop”, which was published in 2018 by the Swiss publisher Park Books.
Cooperation, not competition: In 2017, Mark Neuner and a group of architects and artists initiated the association “Team Wien” to cooperate on self-imposed tasks instead of working against each other in competitions.

Mark Neuner uses his multi-layered activities and experience for ongoing teaching activities, lectures and workshops at universities and architectural institutions. This is reinforced by ongoing jury work and consulting services. Mark Neuner’s office has been awarded several funding prizes and work has been exhibited at international architecture biennials.

Christian holds a master’s degree in architecture at the University of Technology in Vienna. His interests are mainly twofold. The first lies in the creation of visualizations, focusing on clear graphic design. The other coincides with the Sudden Workshop. Working together on 1:1 implementation, especially manually with wood, is a valuable balance to the time working at the desk and that’s really great. Christian’s first academic eduction was in the field of timber construction at the University of Applied Science in Salzburg with a semester abroad in Sweden, at the Jönköping University

Marlene is a member of Mostlikely Architecture and Mostlikely Sudden Workshop since 2019. She is particularly interested in the social aspects of architecture and wants to work towards bringing people together and activating spaces through the power of architecture and well designed spaces. Through several design-build projects in Austria and Sweden and by being a team member of Mostlikely, Marlene has especially gained experience in participatory methods and planning for the public. She particularly enjoys working with a diverse group of people. Marlene Lötsch studied Architecture in Vienna and Architecture and Urban Planning, as well as Architecture and Planning beyond Sustainability in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Felix Redmann studied architecture in Vienna and has recently joined Mostlikely Architecture. In 2018, he broadened his experiences with an internship at a New York furniture and design showroom. Graduating from the Technical University of Vienna in 2022, his diploma project, “Land schafft Stadt,” focused on the interplay between urban and rural spaces, transforming a former Vienna railway site into an innovative urban scenario. Beyond architecture he developed a passion for analog photography, using it to capture urban scenes and convey unique atmospheres and narratives.

Marc joined Mostlikely Architecture in March 2024 to strengthen the team working on the “Blühender Naschmarkt” project. His primary focus is on coordinating various specialist planners and ensuring their contributions are seamlessly integrated into the planning process.

Marc studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Over his 11 years of professional experience, he has concentrated on planning and overseeing the construction of buildings of public interest, often involving existing structures. Notable projects include a library extension in the United States and the modernization of a cultural center in Austria to meet contemporary needs. In 2022, he became a member of the Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants.

Fabian Karl Haslinger accomplished his studies at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria and the Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan, and graduated with honors. His professional experience spans various areas of architecture and related fields, having completed projects of diverse typologies.

Fabian’s approach to architecture is characterized by a holistic perspective that integrates topics like urbanism, politics, history and art, as demonstrated in his latest publication ‘De Re Construire’. He is fluent in English and German and has intermediate proficiency in French.

Laura has been involved in a variety of community- and union organizing projects dealing with housing, health provision and working conditions in Leipzig. Since she has started the Urban Studies program at the Bauhaus University in Weimar in 2021 she has become more involved in the design process for spaces that serve the needs of the community while being ecologically sustainable. Laura studied International Area Studies in Halle, Germany and Human Geography in Lund, Sweden. She joined the mostlikely team for an internship in May 2024.

Transformation Psychologist

Irina Nalis, Ph.D. in Psychology, is an interdisciplinary collaborator in Mostlikely Architecture, where her expertise in research and strategic innovation significantly shape their approach to design human(ity)-centered. She contributes social science concepts and strategic consulting methodologies to drive social transformation. Her work commits to creating spaces and solutions that are not only architecturally sound but also socially and environmentally conscious. Transformation is a teamsport.

• Blühender Naschmarkt: contributions on how traditional spaces can be innovatively reimagined from a social and an ecological perspective for a sustainable future
• Donauversum/Sunken City: part of the common space team which cocreated a new kind of public space on Donauinsel, Vienna, focusing on leisure, co-working, and cultural facilities. The project is notable for its emphasis on free, spontaneous use and accessibility.

Bernhard Stubenböck is part of the Mostlikely Architecture team since august 2018. His broad approach and knowledge renders him perfect for all design phases. He can handle small scale projects up to bigger ones and is in charge of designs, building permits, execution drawings, coordination and the overall project management. Since joining the team he was involved in the project “Weitsicht Cobenzl” and “Taste”.

Before he started his association with Mostlikely, Bernhard worked for various international architecture offices, including Vo Trong Nghia Architect, Menis Arquitectos and Snøhetta.
He is a recipient of the Tische Stipendium and earned an Outstanding Artist Award Recognition.

In 2012 Dipl.- Ing. MAIK PERFAHL (1976) founded his Multi-Media and Design office mostlikely and has ever since been working in the fields of Interior Design, Industrial Design, Innovation Strategies and Architecture.

Within mostlikely, his work ranges from developing concepts, making visualizations, exhibitions and workshops up to the final production of objects and interiors while focusing on the dialogue between crafts and modern technologies like 3d printing, laser cutting or mixed realities .
His work is defined by a holistic approach, mixed with a sensitive touch for detail and interaction. With his ongoing urge to re-invent, experiment and collaborate, he is able to find meaningful solutions for the fast changing demands of our time.
Convinced that innovation is mostly driven by context, social interaction and knowledge transfer, he is inventing products like the „DIY Paper Lampshades“, co-founding the innovation hub „TRIALE“ with the Austrian Federal Forests as well as teaching at “die graphische“.
